"I've been a nurse for almost 20 years with more than half of that time as a nurse practitioner in the ICU. I have been at a crossroads in my career since Covid-19 hit. Maybe it was Covid or even the many years that I've worked in the ICU or both that accelerated burnout, but I have been feeling worn out, stuck, and unsure about my career path moving forward.
